Bairon Lake

In the very heart of the Ardennes, some forty kilometres south of Charleville-Mézières between Sauville and Le Chesne, Bairon Lake covers 120 hectares, comprising 2 lagoons separated by a dike: the old lake and its reed marsh, now a nature reserve and lake used for water sports.

In its verdant valley setting, the lake is ideal for relaxing with the family or friends:
- a leisure centre: beach facilities, supervised bathing from mid-June to the end of August, play and picnic areas.
- water sports with Bairon Nautic Club (hire of equipment: paddle, canoe, pedal boats, catamarans, dinghies etc.)
- Le Panoramic brasserie and bar, where you may take a drink or have a meal.
- Theme courses (run by the activity centre in July/August for children between 6 and 17)

And if camping appeals to you, the 3-star campsite ensures happy holidays in a calm, protected natural environment. In a word, a spot not to be missed in the heart of the Ardennes.
